Civic technology and democratic governance in Cabo Verde

Historical call — the original application period has ended. The programme record and documents remain available for research and project preparation.

The original purpose

The earlier call for Cabo Verde supported civil society engagement with democratic governance. Its documented institutional focus was ECOWAS. The country page records an original deadline of 2022-02-07; the related PDF contains the detailed criteria and support arrangements.

Read the programme as a whole

Check the document sections on recipients, geographic focus, support, costs, selection and implementation. An amount or eligibility rule from another country call should not be transferred to this one. If a deadline differs between an original page and a later publication, consult the issuing programme rather than treating the earlier page as the current instruction.

What this history can help you prepare

Identify the community you want to involve, the public decision you want to influence and the institution that could respond. Document existing participation barriers. Explain how your technology changes that process and how people with limited connectivity can take part. The practical concept-note guide provides a structure for this work.
